  • How long have they been in business?

    5. Personal concern of owner and staff.

  • Is the "Owner" present?
  • Who is available when there is a problem?

    6. Resources after the bill is paid.

  • Support group information available

    7. Prices

  • Don't just call on the phone for prices.
  • Don't shop alone.
  • Keep in mind what the family can afford.
  • Funeral homes are required by law to give a price list at the time of the initial conference.
