Echo/Surgical Team Approach to Successful Valve Repair

For surgeons, cardiologists and cardiac anesthesiologists, training on the “Team Approach” to successful valve repair. The program consists of an on-site visit to the Hoag Heart Valve Center, surgery observation, practical echo tips for the preoperative surgical roadmap development, and a "how to" for post-repair evaluation.

Edwards Myxo ETlogix Ring Implantation

Specific training using the Myxo Ring annuloplasty system is also available and coordinated by Edwards Lifesciences. The program consists of an on-site visit to the Hoag Heart Valve Center, surgery observation with ring implant specifics.

The Hoag Heart Valve Center provides several options for physicians and healthcare professionals to refer a patient for the diagnosis and /or treatment of valvular heart disease.

One-call Referral Process

Please call Karen O’Connell RN, MSN the clinical nurse specialist to refer a patient for consultation, 2nd opinion consultation or Echo review.
