Managing Heart Disease
Hoag Heart and Vascular Institute houses a specialized, 6,000-square-foot Cardiac Services Outpatient Center. The center provides streamlined access to the following services:
A risk-management program with monitored and unmonitored outpatient exercise, a fully equipped gymnasium, a multidisciplinary team of nurses, exercise physiologists and dieticians, as well as patient education.

A program that treats patients with heart rhythm irregularities and provides follow-up to all patients with device implantations.

A follow-up and resource clinic for patients who have undergone complex heart valve surgery, or are being evaluated as candidates for surgery.

Freedom from Smoking
Smoking cessation program is offered monthly, January through November. Refer yourself or friends any time. Monday and Thursday evenings, from 7-9pm in Hoag Conference Center. For more information, call 949/764-6596.

A monthly support group for the cardiac patient, their partner, family members or caregivers.
