Epilepsy
The Epilepsy Center at Hoag Hospital offers interactive support groups for all adolescent and adult epilepsy patients in both English and Spanish. Join us for group discussions to help you better understand and cope with epilepsy.
The support group meets on the first Wednesday of every month from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Hoag Cancer Center (Conference Room A, Second Floor). For more information, please click here.

Brain Tumor
The brain tumor support group, for adults with brain tumors and their families, is designed to assist in the understanding of and coping with brain tumors. The support group meets the first and third Thursday of every month from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm in Hoag cancer Center Auditorium.

Parkinson’s / Movement Disorders
As part of Hoag Hospital's commitment to better serve its community with the highest level of quality care, it's proud to be the only hospital in Orange County partnering with the National Parkinson's Foundation. National Parkinson Foundation Orange County Chapter’s (NPFOCC) mission is to serve Orange County through patient education, public awareness, care and the support of research. The NPFOCC sponsors weekly support groups, seminars and distributes a quarterly newsletter to patients with Parkinson's, their families, caregivers and medical professionals. Brain Aneurysm/AVM
Brain aneurysm survivors, Shail Lal, M.D. and Chris MacDuff, host a first-time support group for those diagnosed or treated for an aneurysm or arteriovenous malformations (AVM) of the brain. Invited speaker Michael Brant-Zawadzki, M.D., executive medical director of Hoag Neurosciences, will discuss Aneurysm 101 followed by Q&A and networking. The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 6 at 6:30pm. Future group meetings will be scheduled for the first Wednesday of each month.
