Many disorders can be treated in the office using minimally invasive techniques that have traditionally required anesthesia in the operating room.
Hoag Voice and Swallowing Center offers expertise in the treatment of hoarseness resulting from benign growths, infections and inflammatory disorders, cancerous diseases, neurologic and muscular disorders, scarring and age related changes, and paralysis affecting the vocal cords and larynx. Our center provides specialized care for professional voice users including singers, actors, clergy, lawyers, and teachers. For patients with swallowing difficulties, we provide targeted diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, many which can be completed in the office without sedation.
